Monday, May 12th, 2008

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., May 12, 2008 – EveryZing, a leader in next-generation Universal Search and video search engine optimization (video SEO), today announced that it has been named a finalist for the 5h Annual MITX Technology Awards.

The Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) What’s Next Forum & Technology Awards recognize innovative technologies developed in the New England area, as well as the individuals and organizations responsible for driving these advancements.

EveryZing’s pedigreed speech-to-text technology unlocks the contents of multimedia audio and video files, enabling them to be searched the same way as text. This enhances the discoverability of the content by large search engines, and thus, drives the content’s SEO. Through its technology, EveryZing is helping media companies and other infotainment sites to drive audience reach, site engagement and contextual monetization of their online audio and video content.

“This prestigious honor comes during an exciting period of growth here at EveryZing,” said Tom Wilde, CEO. “We have recently launched several new products, ezSEO, ezSEARCH and RAMP, helping to establish EveryZing as a complete solution provider for next-generation universal search and search engine optimization (SEO) technologies. Being named a MITX Award finalist is an impressive recognition of our technological advancement and the online audio and video search capabilities we’re providing for our customers.”

MITX is the country’s leading association that brings together digital marketing, media and technology professionals to engage in what’s next for the Web and how it impacts the marketing and business worlds.

“In its fifth year, the MITX Technology Awards have attracted some of the most distinguished technological innovations that the region has to offer,” said Kiki Mills, executive director of MITX. “It is this tremendous interest that enables our organization to accomplish its mission of uniting the brightest minds in the digital marketing, media and technology community and honoring their outstanding achievement.”

EveryZing will be recognized with the other finalists in the category of Content Management/Search at an awards ceremony attended by the region’s top technology and business professionals. Winners will be announced at the ceremony at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Tuesday, June 3, 2008. This year’s keynote speaker and special honoree is Dr. Amar Bose, chairman and founder of Bose Corporation.

The ceremony is preceded by the What’s Next Forum. The topic, Is Advertising the Model of the Future? will be a forward-looking discussion on whether online advertising is the winning model of the future for more than just content.

The MITX What’s Next Forum & Technology Awards are sponsored by Backbone Media, DLA Piper, Invest Northern Ireland, LEWIS PR, Oracle and Technology Review.
